Discover what your favorite dog breed (or the breed of your current furry buddy) says about your personality below. You never know – you might have more in common than you thought!

Australian Shepherds – Owners of this active, outdoors-loving breed are the kind of people you can find playing Frisbee in the yard or taking a nice long hike in a state park. These people love living life to the fullest and tend to make friends easily. They tend to be competitive, especially when it comes to sports!

Beagles – What’s not to love about the beagle and their adorable puppy eyes that are just begging for a scrap of human food to eat?! Those who own a beagle are said to be loyal, curious, and willing to learn new things. These folks make great friends and bring a lot of laughter and joy in other’s lives. They also tend to be foodies and can have a mischievous side.

Owners of this breed are usually leaders, not followers, and they love to organize tasks, events, and other tasks. These people are typically very organized and are determined to reach achieve their goals.

English Pointers, Weimaraners, and Irish Setters – Do you have one of these big beautiful breeds? Then you might be a fan of the outdoors! Owners of these breeds are intelligent, well-rounded, and courageous. They also are highly motivated, easily excited, and enjoy intense activities such as all day hiking. They also can get bored easily if there’s nothing new and exciting happening.

German Shepherd – Just like the breed, owners of German shepherds tend to be shy or wary of others, but they will warm up quickly once they get to know you. Those who own German shepherds are dedicated to their friends and family and will do anything it takes to protect the ones they love.

Great Danes – Those who have a great dane are naturally responsible and good-hearted people. They tend to put their all into anything they want to accomplish. They also tend to be news hounds and welcome the chance to debate about important issues with others.

Greyhound, Whippet, Basenji, and Other Sight Hounds – The owners of these dogs air on the relaxed, calm, and introverted side. They love being with close friends and would much prefer an outing with a few very close friends than a party full of several unknown people. Alert, curious, and incredibly organized, owners of these breeds are quick and tend to excel at sports as well.

Labs and Golden Retrievers – These dogs are good-natured and friendly, and their owners tend to be the same. These people put their families first and are easy-going and carefree. They are known for having a good sense of humor and an active lifestyle. These social butterflies also love spending time with their friends and family, and they are honest and lovable.

Mixed Breeds – The owners of mixed breeds are fun-loving, carefree, passionate, and open-minded. They like to go with the flow and don’t sweat the small stuff. You can more than likely find them volunteering in organizations they care about or spending time with a big group of friends.
